Arije Al-Amad

Arije Alamad is specialized in microfinance and the economic development of women. She was one of the first few practitioners in her field to allow underprivileged females in generating regular income in the MENA Region.

Her 25 years of experience are an accumulation of serving as general manager at Jordan’s largest microfinance institution; Microfund for Women, in addition to serving as deputy CEO at ConsultUs; a Jordanian consulting firm. She is currently a specialized freelance consultant in microfinance, an expert trainer and mentor for small and medium-sized enterprises. She is also an accredited trainer for ‘Start and improve your business’ programs (SYB &IYB) by the International Labor Organization.
